I caught a moment of Lou Dobbs on CNN yesterday evening talking about San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom and his 'sanctuary city' for illegal aliens.  I will leave the details of the subject about the sanctuary city for you own research - but Dobbs was especially upset that several criminal illegals (which, in my estimation, being illegal makes one a criminal) were being not only protected from federal prosecution by Mayor Newsom's project, but even receiving plane rides back to their native lands.  It was estimated that some 1.2 million dollars have been spent in this little endeavor.

Dobbs ranted quite a bit about the gross subversion of justice that was taking place there and even resorted to derogatory name calling of Gavin.  He seemed quite passionate about it.  Moreover, he called it a 'moral and ethical' question of the highest nature.

Wow.  Really?

Isn't this the city most widely known now, not for it's rich historical roots and heritage, but for being the most radically liberal in it's approaches to homosexuality?  Isn't this the mayor who is bucking the system of justice and pushing homosexual marriage in the face of contrary court rulings?

And where was the outcry against that?  Where was the piercing language opposing the 'moral and ethical' outrage that attacked the very foundation of the most natural union on earth?  Where was the voice of objection to the steam-rolling agenda of homosexuals that encroaches on everything that is good?

I'll tell you where it was - silent in fear of those who would scream 'foul' and 'bigot'.  It was mute in terror that one's name would be dragged through the cultural mud of radical liberalism and that it would be labeled, 'discriminatory'.

And exactly what 'moral and ethical' standard is being referred to?  Who sets the mark?

What Dobbs and so many others don't get is that when the moral and ethical standards which God has set forth in the Scriptures is cast aside, all else will crumble and fail before your very eyes.

Instead of standing up and firmly objecting to the homosexual agenda in San Francisco (and other places as well), the attitude of whatever lifestyle one wants to live should just be tolerated and even forcibly embraced.  It was just easier to ignore it than to confront it.

But now, those chickens are coming home to roost.  Evil is evil.  And when one aspect of evil is looked over, no one should be surprised when another aspect of evil is ushered in right behind it.  So if one thinks tax-funded criminal, illegal alien protection programs are deplorable, one must also acknowledge the homosexual lifestyle as abominable as well; because the standard of what is good and what is evil is already set by God.

Wake up.  Stand for good of God.
