So there it is, in big, bold letters off the AP wire - the once heralded California public school system appears to be imploding due to funds and low scoring.
And here I go again - who's surprised??? What's the big deal???
For those of you that may take that comment (what's the big deal) in the wrong way, it's because you haven't read my past articles. It's my sarcastic way of saying, 'It's been going on for quite sometime with little or no attention or care - so why the uproar or surprise'. Get it?
So what is the big deal? Didn't they see it coming? Did they really think they could pump all the psycho babble, false religion, homosexually forced doctrine, rewritten history, and 'there are no losers or wrong answers' postmodern type agendas without any sort of consequence?
Look, even if they totally (and foolishly) dismiss God, you can't squeeze blood from a turnip. There are no free rides. When the money runs out - guess what? It's out. And all the fit-throwing, squalling, foot stomping, and bellowing cries will not fill the bank account. When the well is dry, the spoiled brat routine no longer works.
The radical anti-God agenda is reaping its fruit. I do not rejoice in this. It's just a simple truth. God's blessing is being pulled right before our very eyes. And though some (even Christians) would deny this, what else would we attribute it to? Poor money management? Yet, His word is very clear - do not go against His will and expect His blessings. And if we are not receiving His blessing, only one alternative exists - His cursings.
And the announcements coming out of California trying to guilt trip America into more funding are saying, 'The children are and will suffer!" Folks, I've got news for you, they already have been suffering. When a 7 year old is not allowed to use a Christian song in his sign language performance (Oakley, Ca.), when schools are forced to not only study, but honor the likes of Harvey Milk while denying any Bible study groups in off hours on campus, when kindergarten students are fed the likes of Leslea Newman's 'Heather Has Two Mommies" and Michael Willhoite's 'Daddy's Roommate, the children suffer and God does not smile upon this!
And while Schwarzenegger ended up vetoing the SB 1437, which would have forced every single textbook used in schools to be revised to include references to the contributions of gays, the fact that it was presented and even approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee 3 to 1 is the equivalent to the danger of a pandemic in the school yard.
America. It belongs to God. We are just the stewards. The madness must stop by our efforts or God will bring about its destruction. This is just the front end. No one should be surprised.
