Les was born in Littlefield, Texas, in November of 1947. At age 6, his family moved to Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and in June of 1974, he moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, and has remained here.
He served our country for 8 years through the USAF and was stationed primarily in Guam. He also spent time in Germany, Spain, and several other countries. Les has been employed in the manufacturing sector since 1974 and has been employed at Production Machine and Tool for 13 years.
Les and his wife Marsha were married in June of 1968. Together, they host an annual fish fry event at 89.5FM KMOC in support of the Sharathon Drive. They are proud parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents of one son, one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
One hobby has remained with Les over the years – fishing. Aside from holding the Lake Graham (Texas) lake record for largemouth bass at 12.34 lbs, Les is also a member of the Wichita Falls Christian Bass Club where he serves as Chaplain.
Christ’s Community Fellowship officially started in Les and Marsha’s home, July, 2005. Les has served on the Board of Directors as Vice-President, as an Officer to the Board, and a Shepherd.
